History of Mysuru: Past & Present -Talking History

RSTV Talking History’s Season 2 continues with the rich history, culture and traditions of another city. In this episode we explore the history of Mysore, the city which is often celled as Karnataka’s cultural capital. One of the richest cities in the Southern India, Mysore dates back to pre-medieval times and made its mark in the southern trade route with highly lucrative trade of Silk, Coffee and Sandalwood. The city is also multicultural hub chiefly due to a great heritage of rulers starting Cholas, Vijayanagar Empire, Wadiyars and Tipu Sultan.
